Since our first meeting in July of 1986, Nantucket Retina has provided an informal forum for active, open, and innovative discussions between younger members of the retina community and senior retina specialists, joined by a select group of talented representatives from companies with vitreoretinal expertise. Vitreoretinal colleagues are welcome to join the meeting as well.
We are thrilled to reconvene on beautiful Nantucket in Summer 2027 for the 41st annual meeting of Nantucket Retina. We hope you'll join us July 14-16, 2027, at The Nantucket Inn!
To ensure the most engaging and lively exchange of ideas, the format of the meeting will provide for physician and fellow participants to present a 15-minute talk on an interesting aspect of retinal diseases. The focus may be original scientific work, a case report, experience with a new surgical technique or instrument, or even a straightforward thematic question of interest. As is tradition, the organizing committee will work together in the weeks leading up to the meeting to review and organize registrants' abstract and title submissions and will structure the program to provide plenty of time for lively discussion around each topic. Please feel free to contact us (NantucketRetina@gmail.com) if you would like to have our thoughts about a topic you might present.
See you in July,
Charles C. Barr, MD
Don D'Amico, MD
Szilard Kiss, MD
Mike Lambert, MD
Craig Sklar, MD
Sahana Vyas, MD
